Food is good but Al needs to hire some high energy staff. Taylor with the glasses low energy and not that great with customer service. She's more focused on hanging out than taking care of customers. Obviously lacks the mind set to be a good waitress.

Great food, great service, fair pricing I have been living in this area for a little over 20 years now and I'm not sure when Al's first opened but I always remember them being around first in the actual dinner building and now in it's current location. Al's has the best breakfast food in the town of Methuen hands down!! the waitresses and all of the staff are always helpful cheerful and attentive. There is plenty of parking and you could even go next door and hit a bucket of balls at the driving range if you'd like after breakfast is over. The staff and the customers are friendly and welcoming to all but Al's is definitely a meeting place for locals, every time I go there I see handfuls of people that I know and I'm happy to bump into to and visit with. if you want to go some place that's warm friendly comfortable with good food and good people give Al's Diner a try, you won't regret it

This was our first visit to Al's. The menu was typical for a breakfast place. I had 2 eggs, bacon, homefries (spicy but very tasty) and toast. The servings were good size, manageable for us seniors and the waitress was pleasant, but not overfriendly. The only problem I had, was that I asked for scrambled eggs, but received eggs over easy with runny yolks not one of my favorites. We'll give the place another try before considering it a regular morning stop.

Al's is the best! Bottomless tea and coffee and crazy generous servings of bacon. Kelly's great smile and welcoming personality make Al's a morning must!!
